Call for Papers

Objectives
Mechatronics, as a truly interdisciplinary and integrated approach to engineering, is becoming an increasingly important philosophy. Rapid advances are being made in all of its components. Furthermore, the proliferation of information technology components in our daily lives is indicating that the field of mechatronics is likely to go through major changes during the 21st century. ICM 2006 has the goal of providing a platform to disseminate the recent advances made in the area and to discuss the future research directions, especially with respect to information technology applications.

Topics (including, but not limited to)
• Mechatronics Design
• Modelling and Simulation
• Distributed Systems
• Fault Detection and Diagnosis
• Vision and Sensors
• Robots and Mobile Machines
• Vibration and Control
• Computational Intelligence in Mechatronics
• Intelligent Transportation Systems
• Embedded Real-time Systems
• Micro Mechatronics
• Man Machine Interfaces
• Motion Control
• Hardware/software Co-design
• Intelligent Manufacturing Systems
• Education and Training in Mechatronics

Call for Special Session

Invitation to organize a special session
Special sessions are prestigious and tend to provide a forum for focused discussions on new topics or innovative applications of established approaches. Organizing a special session is an opportunity to the organizer for bringing together eminent people and highest quality researchers to present their views and results in the special session's topic. Organizers of ICM 2006 encourage those who wishing to contribute to the conference quality and to focus on a particular topic to submit special session proposal in all conference topic areas.

The Call for Special Session can be downloaded as a pdf file.

Special session organizer should contact Ales Hace .

Student Best Paper Award

IEEE Hungary Section is planning to support student publication activity on IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics (ICM 2006) to encourage students to prepare high quality papers.
IEEE HS is going to select submitted camera-ready student papers, and prize three papers with Student Best Paper Award.
